These recipes have cheese, sour cream, or yogurt
in them. For some people who
are lactose intolerant even cultured milk products
can be a problem.
Some people can tolerate an aged cheese like parmesan but
not something young like fresh mozzarella. In
my recipes full fat cheeses are used in smaller
amounts. I like to use the highest quality cheese
to enhance flavor. Because most of the recipes
have a small amount of cheese these recipes may
or may not be a problem for you, but to be on
the safe side, you will see them identified in
the individual recipes as "Avoid these recipes
if you are lactose intolerant."
