Safe Recipes for Coumadin® (warfarin) Users

The recipes on the Dr. Gourmet website are individually labeled for their appropriateness for Coumadin (warfarin) users. As a convenience, those recipes on this page are considered safe for those on Coumadin. They may contain some Vitamin K, but in amounts small enough not to cause problems. Recipes not listed here will be labeled on their individual page as "avoid"; those recipes contain simply too much Vitamin K.

Remember that it is important to consume approximately the same amount of Vitamin K-containing foods each day. Use the information in the individual recipes to help you manage your intake so that your warfarin (Coumadin) is most effective.
