A one ounce portion of Canadian bacon has only about 50 calories and 2 grams of fat (half of which is saturated fat). This is a great product for bacon flavor without all the calories of bacon (about 160 calories and 13 grams of fat in a one ounce strip of bacon). Both have essentially the same amount of sodium, coming in at 400 mg per ounce.
