For my Pepperoni Pizza, look for the reduced-fat Turkey Pepperoni. This is a much healthier product, with 17 slices having only 4 grams of fat and a 1.5 grams of saturated fat. Regular pepperoni has 13 grams of fat and 6.3 grams of saturated fat. This recipe calls for half of that serving.
As with any preserved meat, pepperoni has a lot of salt. Both the regular and reduced-fat versions have 600 mg of sodium in 17 slices.
