Traveling in Spain is great not just for the restaurants but every town has a farmer's market of some sort. There are small weekend markets every from villages to the largest cities, medium-sized permanent markets in smaller towns as well as the large Boqueria in Barcelona that I love so much.

Many restaurants in the Navarran region of Spain will serve some variation on these white beans. Some have peas or broad beans along with the white beans and others are straight white beans. Some have peppers and others don't. Most have onions and garlic but many will not use the ham.
