Eating Healthier at Fast Food Restaurants : El Pollo Loco

El Pollo Loco Logo

Pollo Loco is a Mexican fast food chain located in the Southwest – mostly in Los Angeles.

As with almost all fast food, there are not very many choices that make sense, and the main reason is the outrageous amounts of salt. For example, you would think the bowls might be a good choice, but the shrimp Original Pollo Bowl contains 1,770 milligrams of sodium. That's right: 3/4 of a teaspoon of added salt.

Here are a few choices to consider from their menu that might work for you.
