A smoothie can make a great breakfast if you're on the run and only have a few seconds. Use a base of non-fat yogurt for a good protein source and a lot of fruit for good carbs and fiber. I like using papaya or mango juice because they gives a good thick texture and are easy on the stomach.
Servings = 1 | Serving size =about 1 1/2 cups
Cooking Time = 15 Minutes
This recipe easily be multiplied but does not keep well.
1/2 cup | non-fat yogurt |
6 ounces | cantaloupe |
1/2 | banana |
1/3 cup | mango or papaya juice |
Place the yogurt, melon, banana and papaya juice in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
