Dr. Gourmet's Food Reviews

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Eclair

Last week I answered a question about how a dessert fits into a healthy diet. We are going to begin a series of reviews on quick and easy desserts with the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Eclair.

This is a pretty good product. The directions for thawing in the microwave were followed and the result was a tasty, chocolaty, creamy dessert that is very satisfying. Granted, it's not the quality of one that you will get a bakery but at 140 calories and 4 grams of fat it will help keep you on track while satisfying your sweet tooth.

The pastry was slightly chewy but the creamy filling was fine and there was just the right amount of chocolate. Keep these in the back of your freezer for that occasional treat (but it's a good idea to only thaw one at a time).
