Sometimes you just can't make it into the kitchen to cook. Dr. Gourmet has reviewed some common convenience foods, ingredients, and restaurant selections so that you know what's worth eating - and what's not.

The Real World Diet is just that - a diet for living in the real world. So what does that really mean?
Create a two-week custom meal plan including breakfast, lunch and dinner, for yourself or your entire family - even kids under 14! NO making separate meals.
Shopping lists are automatically generated. Just print and shop for the next two weeks of meals.
Frozen meal options for lunch or dinner (such as Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers).
Easy, kid-friendly meals with leftovers for lunches or later in the week.
Special diet options include Comfort Food (great for families with kids!), Vegetarian (lacto-ovo), low sodium, lactose intolerant, Coumadin (warfarin) use, GERD / Acid Reflux safe, and gluten allergies (celiac disease).
Other websites charge you as much as $29.95 per month for this service, but The Real World Diet is completely free. (We don't even ask for your credit card information.)
We tasted this because of a desire to have something to compare against. Are healthier Mac and Cheese products as good as or better than their full calorie, full fat siblings.
In this case, YES!
The best way to describe this product is Salt, Salt, Salt. That's about the only flavor that comes through. There's so much salty flavor that the other taste buds are overwhelmed. This coupled with a much higher amount of fat and saturated fat begs the question, "Why would anyone choose this over the Stouffer's Lean Cuisine?" I feel that this is because of the long standing misconception that healthier food can't taste as good as the original. Here's a great opportunity to prove that idea wrong. Buy the Lean Cuisine.
This product gets no forks. Yuck.
