Mussels with Quinoa and Olives | Low Sodium Version

AvocadoI love mussels and they are so great for you. You can add them to almost anything and this quinoa is a great example. Steam them and add them to the broth at the last minute.

This recipe is lactose-free, gluten-free and safe for Coumadin (warfarin) users. Those with GERD / Acid Reflux should avoid it.

Cumin Dusted Flank Steak with Black Beans

flank steakSimple, simple, simple. This great steak dish takes all of about 20 or 25 minutes to make and is so satisfying. If you want it a bit spicier, you can add more (or less) cayenne pepper, but your favorite hot sauce can give it an altogether different flavor.

This recipe is gluten-free, lactose-free and low in sodium (salt). Those with GERD / Acid Reflux and Coumadin (warfarin) users should avoid it.
