Great ingredients make for great meals. Whenever you can, use the highest quality supplies for your recipes. The flavor difference will always come through in your finished dish.

If you are going to use prepared biscuits for my Chicken Pot Pie recipe, there are great lower fat versions on the market. This recipe is based on biscuits that have about 100 calories and 5 grams of fat but the reduced-fat version is only about 60 calories and 1.5 grams of fat.
While they can be harder to find the reduced-fat are really great and I think they make for a better recipe because they bake off a little crispier.
