Tomato sauce is one of the items that I always have in my pantry.

Below are other items that I try to keep on hand. Most of them keep well and it is easier to cook healthy if you have the ingredients at hand.

Low-sodium soy
Low-sodium Worcestershire Sauce
Low-sodium Ketchup
Parmigiano-Reggiano
Canned tomatoes
Carton chicken stock
Honey
Maple syrup
Egg substitute
Olive oil
White wine
Red wine
Sherry
Cool whip free
Melba toast
Splenda
