How should I eat after a six month treatment with Coumadin (warfarin) is finished?
Very healthy. There really are no restrictions from the standpoint of preventing further blood clots, for instance. I have not found any evidence of a particular diet that you should be following.
That said, it's always a great opportunity to decide to eat as healthy as possible. We know that the best all-around choice, both in terms of health and in terms of most people being able to continue that style of eating for the long term, is a Mediterranean style diet.
Thanks for writing,
